Alfie Arcuri was crowned the winner of The Voice 2016, beating out one of the most competitive fields the show has ever seen. Since winning the popular television show, Universal Music recording artist Alfie has focused his sights on writing and releasing his own original material.
Alfie has spent the last year collaborating with some of the world’s most sought after-songwriters and producers both locally and in the US, and he’s tapped into a surprising, vulnerable space that underpins his first self-penned single, ‘If They Only Knew’ released in July 2017, which has reached 2 million on all platforms.
Alfie has established himself as a well-known and respected artist in the Australian entertainment industry with a loyal fan base that is constantly growing. His presence has also been used to promote and support various charities and initiatives including representation in the LGBTI community. His second self-penned single 'Love is Love' featured prominently during the recent Marriage Equality debate and was the official anthem of the campaign.
Although Alfie previously spent a decade immersed in the world of architecture, he is finally where he wants to be , amidst the music industry. He declares, “Being an architect allowed me to be creative, but ultimately, it was a job. Music is my absolute passion, it’s in my blood, and nothing has ever made me feel the way that making music does. This is 100% me.”
