The Australian born Grammy and APRA nominated musician has already been widely recognised by his penchant for translating the soul of storytelling into the realm of pop music which secured him a publishing deal in an exclusive joint venture with UMPG worldwide in conjunction with The Kennel (Sweden) in February 2018.
Fatkin’s sought after talent has led to him working with Australian artists such as Jessica Mauboy, Stan Walker, Jai Waetford and Tina Arena together with profile writers such as DNA and Sarah Aarons. With his reputation gaining momentum locally, naturally his ability grabbed the attention of international artists seeing him work with the likes of Sam Fischer, Rozzi, Tabitha Nauser, Jason Chan and Royal and The Serpent – inspired by these collaborations, Michael made the decision to move to LA in August 2018 which saw him work with the likes of The Orphanage, Jonas Myrin and Bryan Simpson.
Fatkin has also seen major success within the Christian Music category producing Grammy-nominated Christian Contemporary Album of the Year, “Youth Revival” (2017) and multiple #1 Christian Hot AC hits in the USA also co-producing Hillsong UNITED “Relentless (Young & Free Remix)” from “The White Album (Remix Project)” – which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Dance/ Electronic chart.
Michael added an APRA nomination to his CV in 2018 for his work on The McClymont’s track ‘House’ and backed it up with winning the Worship Recorded Song OF The Year for the title SO WILL I at the 2018 Dove Awards.
