Natalie Hemby

Since signing her first publishing deal at 19, NATALIE HEMBY has become one of Nashville’s most successful and sought-after songwriters. Her songs, which include eight #1 Country singles, have been recorded by artists such as Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris, Lady A, Little Big Town, Sheryl Crow, Lady Gaga, Dierks Bentley, Eli Young Band, Kelly Clarkson, Chris Isaak, Blake Shelton, and Lee Ann Womack, just to name a few.

She’s also expanded her songwriting prowess outside of the country genre, penning hits such as “Jealous” for Labrinth and most recently, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man’s single “All You Ever Wanted”, which reached number one on the UK airplay chart.

In 2019, Natalie, together with Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris and Amanda Shires formed The Highwomen. Their self-titled debut album, widely hailed as one of the year’s best, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Country chart and won Americana Music Honors & Awards for Album of the Year, Duo/Group of the Year, and Song of the Year for their single “Crowded Table.” That track is one of two Country Song of the Year GRAMMY® nominations Natalie received this year (the other is for Miranda Lambert’s “Bluebird.”) In 2020, Natalie won her first GRAMMY® Award, Best Song Written for Visual Media for Lady Gaga’s “I’ll Never Love Again,” from A Star Is Born. In 2021, she won her second, Best Country Song for The Highwomen’s “Crowded Table”.

Natalie Hemby’s new solo album, produced by her husband Mike Wrucke, will be released later this year by Fantasy Records.
