Corey "Latif" Williams

COREY "LATIF" WILLIAMS, known as simply Latif, is a New York based R&B singer and Grammy nominated songwriter. After releasing his debut album, Love In The First, on Universal Motown in 2003, Latif pursued writing for other artists.

Latif’s incredible topline ability has landed him cuts with The Roots (“Why”), JoJo (“Like That”), Chris Brown (“Damage), Trey Songz (“For The Sake Of Love”), Faith Evans (“Gone Already”) and Kiesza ft. Joey Bada$$ (Teach Me”). Two of his songs, “Teachme” by Musiq Soulchild and “Gone Already” by Faith Evans, were nominated for Grammys. Most recently, Latif helped pen the latest Usher single, “Crash.”

Today, Latif co-writes with some of the hottest producers and writers in New York, after wrapping up sessions with Timbaland on the other side of the country for Jack & Jack’s EP.
