Kate Morgan is a risk taker. At 16, she left Kamloops, BC and headed to Vancouver to follow her dreams to do what she was born to do: sing. At first, she spent her days waiting tables and her evenings finishing her education - but then her dream manifested into reality.
Since 2016, Canadian export Kate Morgan, more commonly known as Aria Hennessy, has been busy in LA penning tracks and working with the production teams of some of the industry’s biggest pop acts. At only 24 years old, Aria could be considered a music industry vet, penning songs such as Illenium’s “Crawl Outta Love” and Ashe’s “Used To It.” The last few years have found her co-writing songs with The Futuristics, Grace, Charlie Handsome, Samm Henshaw, Hit Boy, Olivia O’Brien, Needlz, Daniel Skye, Lophiile, George Reid of AlunaGeorge, SG Lewis and Delacey.
Most recently, Aria has recently began honing her own alt R&B leaning sound, and putting together a collection of songs slated for release throughout 2018. Following the success of her first two singles and garnering more than 550,000 streams on Spotify alone, Aria released "Soul in Your Pocket" this summer and caught the attention of industry vet Tom Sarig, who will be releasing Aria's next batch of singles in 2018.
