Anita Blay

Anita Blay's first foray into music was at the age of 17, songwriting, recording and performing at a production house in North London with acts including Plan B and Amir Amor from Rudimental. In 2009, under the moniker Cocknbullkid, she signed to Island Records, releasing her debut album 'Adulthood' in 2011.

After joining Trevor Horn's prestigious Perfect Songs roster in 2013, Anita co-wrote the Neon Jungle debut single 'Trouble' for RCA, which went on to reach the Billboard Top 10. Not only did the track secure numerous worldwide synch placements including Dancing With The Stars and the world famous Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, it also catapulted Anita into the pop writing elite circles of the UK music industry, resulting in cuts on the Little Mix international smash single 'Hair feat. Sean Paul' and a OneRepublic cut which became the soundtrack to the hit Netflix Show 13 Reasons Why.

Anita’s USP is her diversity. As well as being one half of duo Antony and Cleopatra (Universal), she has written for many dance acts including Elderbrook, LDRU and Motez.
