Jimi Hendrix 'People, Hell and Angels'

‘People, Hell and Angels’ is released today - featuring previously unreleased studio recordings by Jimi Hendrix from 1968 to 1970. By 1968 Jimi had become eager to develop new material with old friends and new ensembles, and outside of the Jimi Hendrix Experience he was working behind the scenes on his next musical statement.

‘People, Hell and Angels’ showcases 12 of these recordings, encompassing a variety of sounds, styles, and instruments - horns, keyboards, percussion and second guitar. The album provides a compelling window into his growth as a songwriter, musician and producer.

Stereophonics release 'Graffiti on the Train'

Rhye is a meeting of two musicians - Robin Hannibal from Copenhagen, and Canadian Mike Milosh, from his adopted city of Berlin. The relationship began when Robin commissioned Mike to remix some of his work. When the songs came back, Robin was inspired by how “it didn't sound that much like a remix really, instead it was like Mike had created layers and layers of amazing vocals and created an idea for a new song."

Artists signed to Universal Music Publishing won three BRITS at the Awards last night at the O2 Arena. Mumford & Sons won Best British Group whilst Adele won Best British Single for ‘Skyfall’. Coldplay collected the award for Best British Live Act.
