Several Universal Music Publishing songwriters feature in Music Week's Top 20 Q1 2013 UK hit songwriters list.

Bastille’s songwriter Dan Smith made the top spot, with the help of singles ‘Pompeii’ and ‘Flaws’. Disclosure pair Guy and Howard Lawrence were at No. 3, whilst and Mumford & Sons were at No. 7. Olly Murs, Adele and John O’Neill (The Undertones) also made the Top 20.

The chart is based on shares of the UK's biggest selling singles of the quarter.
