On Friday November 7th, the Swedish MPA Awards (Musikförläggarnas Pris) was held at B-K in Stockholm.

Vincent Pontare and Salem Al Fakir took home International Success of the Year award for their work on Ghost’s critically acclaimed and Billboard #1 album 'Skeletá'. We have worked with Vincent and Salem for over a decade, and we are so proud to see their constant curiosity and growth as two of Sweden’s most prominent writers and producers. 

Kristofer Strandberg won the Listeners Award (presented by Spotify) for the song 'Bara Bada Bastu' by KAJ. The group represented Sweden in Eurovision Song Contest 2025. 'Bara Bada Bastu' became an instant national classic and is the most streamed song in Sweden this year. We signed Kristofer a year ago and are so excited to get to be on his journey!

UMPG artists and songwriters were nominated in categories such as Lyricist of the Year (Daniela Rathana, Amanda Cy, Oskar Linnros, Jonathan Johansson), Song of the Year (Kristofer Strandberg), Composer of the Year (Pelle Gunnerfeldt) and Breakthrough of the Year (Sandra Wikström).
