MATT SHULTZ is an artist and songwriter, best known as the lead singer and writer for the band, Cage the Elephant. Deeply inspired by punk music, Matt and his brother Brad began playing music in high-school with fellow students Jared Champion and Daniel Tichenor. Shortly after forming the band, they made the bold move to London to begin their career. Their self-titled debut album gained them international attention, catapulting them up the Billboard Alternative and Rock charts and achieving Platinum certification. Since then, Matt has gone on to pin multiple number 1’s for the band, recorded 6 critically acclaimed studio albums and toured the world as one of the foremost international rock stars of the modern era. On top of his work with the band, Matt is a prolific songwriter, working with other artists and writers across varied musical spectrums.
