The 2014 APRA Music Awards

UMPG would like to congratulate all the nominees from last night's 2014 APRA Music Awards.

The incredible Louis Schoorl won 'Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year' after he wrote a total of 88 songs in 12 months that yielded over a dozen single cuts, multiple Gold and Platinum plaques and #1's across 3 continents.

Lee Kernaghan and Colin Buchanan deservedly took home 'Best Country Work' for 'Flying With The King’.

Robin Thicke took home the award for 'Best International Work' for the megahit 'Blurred Lines’ slightly pipping the most performed international radio track of last year 'Let Her Go' by Passenger.

Finally the late and great Otis Redding scored the award for 'Best Dance Work' after he was sampled for Flume's hit 'Holding On’.
