SCREENWRK x Nothing Standard in Deià: collaboration, creativity and sync-focused songwriting
SCREENWRK x Nothing Standard brought together a group of talented songwriters, producers and artists in Deià, Mallorca to collaborate on writing music for films, TV, advertising and beyond.
The second edition of SCREENWRK x Nothing Standard in Deià brought together an incredible group of songwriters, producers, artists and multi-instrumentalists for a week of sync-focused songwriting.
Developed at UMPG UK in partnership with Nothing Standard and Magic Mountain Songs, the retreat is built around live creative briefs and conversations exploring how music connects with audiences across film, TV, advertising and beyond.
Participating songwriters, producers and artists were: Ant Vander-West (Oh Wonder), Jack Leonard, Jimmy James, Jake Tench, Yizzy, Ella Mayjor, Jessica Agombar, Morgan Harper-Jones and Freja Drakenberg.
The week sparked some fantastic creative partnerships, and produced some amazing music, including forthcoming single “Little Bird” from Morgan Harper-Jones, written at SCREENWRK with Vander-West and Jake Tench.
