Nick Hodgson is a Brit Award, Ivor Novello and NME award winning song writer with over 250,000,000 Streams. He emerged in 2005 with Kaiser Chiefs, the band he co-founded in Leeds some years before as main writer of hits including the number 1 hit 'Ruby', 'I Predict A Riot' and 'Everyday I Love You Less And Less'.
He left the band in 2012 after having a top 10 hit with Mark Ronson (Bang Bang Bang) and cuts with Duran Duran and Shirley Bassey. After attending the infamous ASCAP writing camp in a castle in France he decided to devote the next few years to co-writing. Songs with John Newman, the Vamps, Hurts, Eliot Sumner and Rat Boy followed. Then in 2017 he decided to stop writing for others to write and produce a solo album. 'Tell Your Friends' was released in January 2018 to great reviews and a tour followed culminating in a performance at Rise Festival. The first single, 'Suitable' has gathered three quarters of a million streams on Spotify.
He’s most recently co-written a Radio 2 A-list record, 'Better Than Me' by Ten Tonnes and has a forthcoming single with Steve Aoki.
Hodgson started Prediction Music publishing for his own works in 2016 and is very happy to be working alongside Universal Music Publishing going forward.
