Disclosure release lead single for 'Caracal'

Disclosure’s extraordinary debut album ‘Settle’ (2013) consolidated their place at the forefront of a new wave of electronic music. It topped the charts, won numerous accolades and ushered in a new age that opened up dance music for the next generation of young music fans while refreshing and rejuvenating the scene for the rest.

A key moment in their rise to fame came with the incredible success of breakout single ‘Latch’, which was co-written by Jimmy Napes and featured vocals from the then unknown Sam Smith. Their new single ‘Omen’, released on August 21st, also co-written by Napes once again features vocals from the now global superstar Sam. ‘Omen’ will be the lead single from Disclosure’s eagerly awaited second album ‘Caracal’ released on September 25th.

Iron Maiden announce 16th album

Iron Maiden’s eagerly awaited new studio album 'The Book Of Souls' will be released globally on 4th September through Parlophone Records (BMG in the U.S.A.). It was recorded in Paris with their longstanding producer Kevin “Caveman” Shirley in late 2014, with the finishing touches added earlier this year. However, the band decided to delay its release so that vocalist Bruce Dickinson would have time to recuperate sufficiently to join in the preparations for the album’s launch.

Ivor Novello Awards 2015

Artists and songwriters signed to Universal Music Publishing won four Ivor Novello Awards yesterday. Annie Lennox was awarded the fellowship of the British Society of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (Basca) - the society's highest honour.

Jimmy Napes walked away with two awards for his co-writing part in the success of Clean Bandit’s ‘Rather Be’, which won Best Contemporary Song and Most Performed Song. David Holmes won Best Original Film Score for ’71.
