At the 20th annual SESAC Pop awards took place April 18th and honored the songwriters behind some of the biggest songs of the past year.
UMP Scandinavia writer Oscar Holter (signed to UMPG via co-pub Lionheart Music) was awarded for his contributions to Hailee Steinfeld's 'Love Myself' and Tori' Kelly's 'Should've Been Us'.

Now Jakob releases the new single 'Trädgårn' - including the B-side 'Kamrat'. 'Trädgårn' is titled after the nightclub Trädgår'n in Gothenburg.
Norlie & KKV - the Swedish duo made up of Sonny Fahlberg and Kim Vadenhag - releases 'Din idiot'. Just like last year's hit 'Ingen annan rör mig som du' it is co-written by UMPG writers. Isak Alverus, David Landolf and Noël Svahn has contributed to this song, which definately qualifies to the soundtrack of this summer.
Last night Conrad Sewell did an amazing performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Conrad Sewell is an Australian singer-songwriter. He scored his break after being featured (and co-writing) on the 2014 Kygo hit 'Firestone'. Sewell released his debut EP 'All I Know' in 2015. It features the hit song 'Start Again' and 'Remind Me' - which Conrad performed on The Tonight Show.
Marit Bergman is back with her new pop album 'Molnfabriken' - her first one in Swedish - including the singles 'Dra åt helvete', 'Ibland gråter jag bara för att tiden går' and 'Dansa mamma!'.
Swedish writer and producer producer Dan Lissvik has released music under names like Studio (together with Rasmus Hägg), Atelje and D. Lissvik. Now he shares 'N' as - simply - Dan Lissvik. He also announces the album titled 'Midnight' to be released on June 10th. The title refers to the fact that his recording sessions started at midnight after his wife and newborn went to bed.
