UMPG Nashville signs Mitchell Douglas and Hagan Edge of Sons of Habit to exclusive, global publishing agreement

Universal Music Publishing Nashville today announced that Mitchell Douglas and Hagan Edge of Sons of Habit have been signed to an exclusive, global publishing agreement.

Originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, Sons of Habit – comprised of Mitchell Douglas, Hagan Edge, Dalton Daniels, Jeffrey Parish and Noah Patrick – are known for their distinctive sound, blending folk, rock and Americana influences with authentic storytelling. Since releasing their debut single, “Madeline,” in July 2024, the band has amassed millions of streams and built a growing fanbase, touring alongside Dylan Gossett, 49 Winchester, Ole 60 and Shane Smith & The Saints.

Sons of Habit made their Grand Ole Opry debut on August 14, marking a major milestone for the rising Kentucky band. The group is currently working on their debut album, with more new music to come.
