UMPG Scandinavia’s Fever Ray (Karin Dreijer) has written two original songs for the soundtrack of new Warner Bros film THE BRIDE!, directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal.

“The Lake” and “Wrong Flower” both feature in the film, and have also been released on an EP, alongside two cinematic versions. An existing Fever Ray track “Wanna Sip” (written by Karin Dreijer and Peder Mannerfelt) also appears in the film, and Fever Ray even makes a cameo appearance.

Fever Ray said: “I’m very thankful for being invited to this project by Maggie Gyllenhaal! I was a fan before, but when I read the manuscript for the first time, I was hooked. The language of THE BRIDE! is poetic, fun and magical, exactly where I like to exist.”

Irving Berlin's “Puttin’ On The Ritz” also features in the film, whilst Florence + The Machine's “Everybody Scream” soundtracks the trailer.

THE BRIDE! - a bold, iconoclastic take on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein - stars Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale, and is in cinemas from 6th March.
