Goodyear’s latest commercial for its line of high performance ‘Eagle’ tyres features Dire Straits’ 1985 hit “Money for Nothing”.

Under the tagline ‘Fast Is In Us’ the campaign explores the mindset behind what it means to go fast, brought to life through the voice of legendary Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna. The powerful build-up in the opening of Dire Straits’ iconic track perfectly encapsulates the feeling of anticipation and acceleration that’s captured so powerfully in the cinematic campaign. 

“Money for Nothing” was as released as the second single from Dire Straits’ fifth album Brothers in Arms, and was the band’s most commercially successful single.
