FELIX JOSEPH has a finely tuned ear for unique talent. Gaining attention after developing British soul singer Elli Ingram (Island) he has gone on to hold credits with Birdy (Beautiful Lies, Atlantic), Kwabs (Love + War, Atlantic) Selah Sue (Reason, Because) Aquilo (Silhouettes, Island) and Hare Squead (Sony). Felix cut his teeth as a studio assistant for one of the UK's most renowned and influential bands and this gave him early experience with analogue equipment and classic recording techniques. He is equally comfortable in the world of beats and synths, immersed in hip hop & RnB music and respected by a broad church of creators in that space.
Originally from Brighton but now dividing his time between London and the US, Felix continues to play a pivotal role in defining the sonic identities of artists on both sides of the Atlantic.
Felix spends most of his time under voluntary incarceration in his North London studio honing his sound. Regarded as something of an enigma in the UK music scene, he is a perfectionist; often uncompromising but always striving for something beautiful.
