Coming from Willingboro, NJ, CARDIAK embarked on his journey through the music business in 2008, contributing to mixtapes for Joe Budden, Freeway,  Ace Hood, and Meek Mill. “Start it Up” by Lloyd Banks served as a great jumping off point for the commercial Cardiak sound, as did Wale’s “600 Benz,” while “Diced Pineapples” by Rick Ross featuring Wale and Drake further cemented Cardiak’s ability do radio friendly music.  

In addition to his radio hits, Cardiak has also contributed to the albums of artists like Eminem, The Game, Ryan Leslie, J. Cole, and T.I.  Cardiak also received recognition for his production skills, winning various iStandard Producer Showcases, and now frequently judges the events His work is denoted by a "Flatline" tag in most of his songs. He has writing credit’s on Drake's album, ‘Views,' Macklemore & Rhyan Lewis' album, 'This Unruly Mess I've Made,' and Jeremih's album 'Late Nights.'

Cardiak cites Just Blaze and Dr. Dre as having major influences over him as a producer. With two of the most celebrated beats on Dr. Dre’s Compton album, Cardiak is sure to see a spike in his demand.
