Olly Murs releases his third studio album today ‘Right Place Right Time’. The album goes from the confident swagger of ‘Troublemaker’ and ‘Loud and Clear’, via the anthemic ‘Army of Two’ to the piano led 'One Of These Days’ and the tender romance of ‘Sliding Doors’. The first single from the album - 'Troublemaker’ featuring Flo Rida - was released last week and went straight to the top of the singles chart.
Example releases his fourth studio album ‘The Evolution of Man’ today. The album has already spawned a No. 2 single with ‘Say Nothing’, whilst second single ‘Close Enemies’ has been receiving heavy support from Radio 1. In a departure from his last album ‘Playing in the Shadows’, 'The Evolution of Man' embraces a more rock-driven sound, with Graham Coxon playing guitar on several tracks.

Crystal Castles have released their third studio album ‘III’. The album was recorded mostly in Warsaw and Berlin, with the duo taking a different approach from their previous LPs - enforcing a ‘no computers’ rule, and recording everything direct to tape.
The album has already caused a stir amongst fans and critics alike, with NME awarding it 9/10 and declaring,“Being doomed never sounded so beautiful” whilst The Independent (4/5) suggest, “If the Mayans were right and the world really is going to end this December, you won't hear many better soundtracks than this.”
Laura Mvula is an artist whose music simply speaks for itself – her debut single ‘She’, an utterly spellbinding track so lyrically poetic that it takes on a life of its own.
‘She’ has already had an incredible reaction from the music press, with Q Magazine describing it as “One of most heart-stirringly beautiful debuts you'll hear this, or any other year”, and Record of the Day declaring “Every now and then, a track comes along that takes your breath away... ‘She’ is heart-stoppingly good.”

In their short lifespan Sex Pistols produced just one studio album, but they changed the face of popular music and culture in general.
'Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols' was released by Virgin in 1977 and perfectly articulated the frustration and rage of Britain’s disaffected youth. Johnny Rotten’s vitriolic vocals are matched by the punishing power chords of Steve Jones, expertly captured by producer Chris Thomas.
