Example 'The Evolution of Man'
Example releases his fourth studio album ‘The Evolution of Man’ today. The album has already spawned a No. 2 single with ‘Say Nothing’, whilst second single ‘Close Enemies’ has been receiving heavy support from Radio and featured as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record in the World’.
In a departure from his last album ‘Playing in the Shadows’, 'The Evolution of Man' embraces a more rock-driven sound. Graham Coxon plays guitar on several tracks, including the prog-rock influenced ‘Crying Out for Help’ and the Zane Lowe produced ‘Blood From A Stone’. However, true to his roots, the album is still rich in electronic textures, with Example’s signature candid autobiographical lyrics running through the tracks and additional production coming from Feed Me, Dirty South, Tommy Trash, Skream and Benga.
2013 will see Example take his high impact live show on the road again with another arena tour. As The Sun declared in a recent review, ‘‘Example is going to be around for a long time to come.”
