UMPG have been nominated for seven awards in the Music Business Worldwide A&R awards which will be presented in November at Abbey Road Studios.

Universal Music Publishing Group has signed a worldwide deal to represent singer-songwriter-producer Tom Misch it was announced today by Mike McCormack, Managing Director of Universal Music Publishing UK. 21-year-old Londoner Tom Misch takes the musical ingredients of J Dilla-style beats, irresistible guitar lines and neo-soul and to create his own adventure in sound - intrepid, invigorating and bursting with inventiveness.

Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) has signed a worldwide administration deal (excluding Nordic Region and Baltic States) to represent Per Gessle for the entire Roxette catalogue (with Marie Fredriksson), along with certain other songs. Per Gessle is one of Scandinavia’s all-time most successful artists and songwriters. With a gift for catchy hooks, both musically and lyrically, he has composed chart-topping pop hits for more than three decades. 

The American performer returns to perform the music of two great UMPG composers in two musical-plays, entitled Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin and Hershey Felder as Maestro Leonard Bernstein as well as telling the stories of their careers.

Bruce Springsteen has signed with Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) to exclusively administer his entire catalogue of songs and future projects, the first time a single publisher will represent his entire catalogue worldwide.

UMPG Artists and Songwriters have been shortlisted for the Hyundai 2017 Mercury Music 'Album of the Year' Prize. The xx have been nominated for their third album ‘I See You’ and Ed Sheeran’s ‘÷’ is also nominated, an album which contains six UMP co-writes.

Following the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower in West London, Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ has been recorded by over 50 artists to raise money for those affected by this devastating event.
