In December 2024 his Oscar-nominated film, ‘Better Man’, was released globally to critical acclaim and in January 2025 he released the 'Better Man (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)', which secured him his 15th UK Number 1 album. Robbie won the prestigious PRS for Music Icon Award at The Ivors 2025 in London last May – his fifth Ivor Novello Award – celebrating Robbie as one of Britain’s most iconic and influential songwriters. Robbie was announced as the Official FIFA Music Ambassador in June 2025 – a global role for FIFA marking a powerful new union between music and football on the world stage. In his first engagement in his ongoing role, Robbie wrote – alongside Karl Brazil and Owen Parker, with Erik Jan Grob – and recorded the first ever Official FIFA anthem, ‘Desire’ featuring Laura Pausini, to accompany players as they walk onto the pitch across all FIFA tournaments and matches worldwide. The track will be played at all future FIFA tournaments including the FIFA World Cup 26™. In May 2025 Robbie announced his brand-new album, ‘BRITPOP’. The ‘BRITPOP’ stadium and arena tour last summer saw Robbie perform to more than 250,000 people in the UK alone and 1.2 million people across the whole tour. In January 2026, Robbie released his album ‘BRITPOP’ to critical acclaim, which secured him his 16th UK Number 1 album and broke the record for the artist with the most UK Number 1 albums. In February 2026 he will perform a special run of shows at intimate venues across the UK as part of the ‘Long 90’s Tour’ in celebration of the new record. Robbie has raised £121 million to date for charity worldwide since co-founding Soccer Aid for UNICEF in 2006.
