Jinsing is a boutique publishing company set up by international songwriter Janee 'Jin Jin' Bennett as a joint venture with Universal Music Publishing.
The company aims to sign and nurture the best up-coming talent, providing opportunities for exciting collaborations across all genres.
As a successful writer herself, Jin Jin has a wealth of experience to tap into when developing her own roster, and a driving passion for helping others realise their potential.
Recognising the early talent of the now seven times #1 artist Jess Glynne whilst hosting a songwriting masterclass at Jess’s college, Jin Jin went on to co-write releases ‘Right Here’ (UK No. 6), ‘Real Love’ (UK No. 2) and the UK No. 1’s ‘Hold My Hand’ and ‘Not Letting Go’ by Tinie Tempah feat. Jess Glynne.
Both of Jess’s albums topped the charts, and Jin Jin was nominated for an Ivor Novello and won a BMI Award for her writing on ‘Hold My Hand’.
Brought up in Manchester, the seeds of Jin Jin's ambitions were sown as a child, hanging out in her Grandad’s reggae music record shop. After moving to London she became known initially for her work in the UK grime scene with Wiley and Roll Deep, but has gone on to collaborate with a host of international producers and artists. Producers such as Fraser T Smith, Toby Gad, Chad Hugo, Diplo, Tiësto and Oliver Heldens, and artists Jax Jones ('You Don't Know Me'), Paloma Faith & Sigala ('Lullaby'), Jonas Blue & Sabrina Carpenter ('Alien'), David Guetta (aka Jack Back ‘Put Your Phone Down’), Madison Beer ('Home With You'), ONE OK ROCK (‘Wasted Nights’ & ‘Giant’), RAYE ('Decline' & 'Friends'), Sean Paul, Rita Ora, Clean Bandit, Nina Nesbitt, Craig David, Gary Barlow and many more.
In recognition of her achievements she was nominated for Songwriter Of The Year at the Music Business Worldwide Awards 2018, and won the “Music Creative” Award at Music Week's 2018 Women In Music event.
Jinsing's roster includes Blaise, Sophia Amato and Theo Douk.
