Danny Shah is a Multi-Instrumentalist and Songwriter from Scotland who lives and breathes melody. "Writing a melody that is unique, interesting and memorable is the most satisfying feeling and genuinely helps me sleep at night. I feel very lucky to say I’m living my dream job”
After writing his first song at the age of 7, Danny continued to write an idea for a song every day. Going through rock bands to metal, venturing into pop and R&B, Danny grew up learning as many instruments as he could to accompany the songs he would write. Leaving school early to go to college and receive qualifications in musical engineering and production was an important step allowing Danny to record and present his songs to the industry.
Danny moved to London at the age of 20 to pursue an artist career and released songs such as 'We Are Connected' racking up almost a million hits in a week, but decided to focus on songwriting when he was offered his first publishing deal with Brian Higgins at Xenomania where he released singles for various artists including Florrie and Kaiser Chiefs.
In 2015 Danny signed another contract with Tileyard Music where he spent 3 years writing and producing songs. Within the last 18 months he has secured 2 UK Number 1 albums - one with The Vamps, and the other in Kylie Minogue’s recent album ‘Golden’ on which 5 of the tracks are co-writes of his. He also has written singles for HRVY (Virgin) as well as penning multiple singles with Zak Abel, Matt Terry, Oliver Heldens, Sigma and many more.
Danny currently has multiple singles to be released including David Guetta, Sigala, Sub Focus, Gorgon City, JP Cooper, Galantis, HRVY and Loren.
