Cocteau Twins

Cocteau Twins created a distinctly unique, ethereal and gossamer sound. The definitive line-up of Elizabeth Fraser, Robin Guthrie and Simon Raymonde released a string of classic albums including 'Treasure', 'Victorialand', 'Blue Bell Knoll' and 'Heaven and Las Vegas'. They also contributed greatly to the work of This Mortal Coil.

In 2008 the band received the Q Inspiration Award and in 2012 their influence can be heard more than ever; from Antony & the Johnsons, Warpaint, Beach House, Animal Collective, The xx, Bat For Lashes, Sigur Ros and Lykke Li, to fans such as Robert Plant, Madonna, Feist and Prince. They have written music for film such as 'The Lovely Bones', 'Judge Dredd' and 'Stealing Beauty' together, plus many other projects individually.
