The nominees for the Swedish MPA Awards 2016 are in and Universal Music Publishing has a total of five nominations out of seven categories.

Silvana Imam (signed to UMPG via co-pub Refune)

Breakout of the Year
Simon Strömstedt

Song of the Year
Justin Timberlake - 'Can't Stop The Feeling' (co-written by UMPG writer Justin Timberlake)

The award ceremony will be held at Berns Salonger in Stockholm November 11th. 

The Swedish MPA Awards is hosted by Musikförläggarna, The Swedish Music Publishers Association, and is an annual prize ceremony that premiers Swedish songwriters, lyricists and contemporary composers. Authors in nine different categories are awarded for their achievements throughout the period of July 1st 2015 - June 30th 2016.
