Universal Music Publishing is proud to congratulate our songwriter Jakob Karlberg, celebrating his debut single ’Fan Va Bra’ selling 2X platinum since its release in late April.
At the early age of 20, Jakob became a Swedish YouTube phenomenen after uploading covers of UMPG writers Axel ’Axwell’ Hedfors and Sebastian Ingrossos record ’Something New’ and local UMPG writer Oskar Linnros record ’Hur Dom Än’, giving him enough views to catch the attention of Sony Music A&R Petter Eriksson.
Jakob Karlberg was signed to UMPG in early 2015, months before the release of his single ’Fan Va Bra’ through Sony Music Sweden. The song is written by Jakob Karlberg, Simon Strömstedt, Noël Svahn and David Landolf.
The follow up single ’Fel På Dig’ is written by Jakob Karlberg and Simon Strömstedt, and was released on the 7th of august and is expected to become the perfect hit song for the misty hours of the Swedish fall.
Jakob Karlberg is just about to hit the road for his debut tour, hitting the following cities of Sweden during the fall.
