UMP writers nominated for Swedish Grammis Awards

Numerous UMP artists and writers have been nominated in the Swedish Grammis Awards 2013.

After a phenomenal year, Swedish House Mafia have been nominated in multiple categories: Composer of the Year, Artist of the Year, International Success of the Year, Best Dance Recording and Best Electro/Dance Act - with Miike Snow also up for a nomination in this last category.

Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ is also up for Song of the Year – alongside five more songs from UMP writers: ‘Hungry Hearts’ (Pontare), ‘I Love It’ (Eklow), ‘Tröjan du hatar’ (Svahn/Landolf), Äckligt’ (Nordström/Munkhammar) and ‘Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)’ (Jörgen Elofsson).

El Perro Del Mar is up for three awards – Album of the Year, Producer of the Year and Best Pop.

Kleerup has been nominated for Best Classical, Tony Holgersson for Best Folk and The Soundtrack of our Lives for Best Rock. Three UMP writers are up in the Best Hip Hop / Soul category – Chords, Maskinen and Timbuktu & Damn.

Congratulations to all UMP writers nominated. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 20th February.
