UMPG signs Latin artist Feid to global publishing deal

Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a leading, global music publisher, has signed songwriter/artist Feid to an exclusive, worldwide publishing agreement. Born in Medellín, Colombia, Feid has received Latin Grammy Award nominations two years in a row for Best Urban Music Album for second studio album ‘19,’ and 2020’s ‘FERXXO (VOL 1: M.O.R.)’ which includes the hit “Porfa” featuring fellow UMPG collaborator Justin Quiles.

Jody Gerson to receive Songwriters Hall of Fame Abe Olman Publisher Award

Jody Gerson will receive the Abe Olman publisher award at the 51st annual Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner. The Abe Olman publisher award, which is named after one of the founders of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, is given out each year to a music publisher “who has had a substantial number of songs that have become world-renowned and has furthered the careers and successes of a great number of songwriters.”
