Universal Music Publishing Group announced today that Mexican music phenomenon and two-time Latin GRAMMY® nominee DannyLux has signed an exclusive worldwide publishing agreement. 

Q' Lokura has entered an admin agreement with UMPG Argentina globally, which includes their back catalogue and all the songs they will create over the coming years.  Q’ Lokura is the most important cuarteto group in Argentinean music for the last 9 years and has established itself as a leading name in the genre.

We are incredibly proud that UMPG artists and songwriters have won 21 Latin GRAMMYs this year. Among them were Record of the Year (Palmeras En El Jardín by Alejandro Sanz, Spreadlof and Elena Rose) and Album of the Year (DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS by Bad Bunny and La Paciencia).

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) has honored Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) with the prestigious Premio ASCAP 2025 / Latin ASCAP Award 2025 as Publisher of the Year. This marks the third consecutive year that UMPG has received the honor. The Latin ASCAP Awards 2025 are an esteemed annual event that celebrates the most notable Latin songs of the year.

In Miami, UMPG partnered with She is the Music to host a three-day wellness and songwriting retreat (March 17-19) at Mindful Music Lab, led by wellness and music expert Brittany Berger. Designed as a safe and supportive space for female artists, songwriters, and producers, the event filled a gap often missing in traditional music sessions - fostering both collaboration and community.

UMPG celebrated outstanding success at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards, representing 15 of Sunday night's Grammy Award winners, who garnered trophies across 19 genre-diverse categories, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year. In addition, UMPG Chairman & CEO Jody Gerson received the Recording Academy’s 2025 Industry Icon Award, recognizing her transformative leadership and impact on the music industry.
