Universal Music Publishing Australia has signed a global music publishing deal with multi-platinum producer/songwriter One Above (a.k.a. Andrew Burford), it was announced today by Bob Aird, Universal Music Publishing Australia MD, and Heath Johns, Universal Music Publishing Australia Director of A&R.

With 14 top 30 ARIA singles and counting, at just 24 Jessica Mauboy continues to forge a special legacy in Australian pop. Already a bonafide star in the studio, on the stage and on screen- Mauboy had today unveiled the beautiful video for her new single 'The Day Before I Met You'. 

UMPG Australia would like to congratulate M-Phazes after the Melbourne based producer won a 2015 Grammy Award for his work on Eminem's MMLP2. M-Phazes co-wrote and co-produced the album's opening track 'Bad Guy'.

MMLP2 was named 'Rap Album of the Year' at the 56th annual Grammy Award Ceremony in Los Angeles this evening.

The album has also been certified Gold by ARIA for sales in excess of 35,000.

The infectious follow-up single 'If You Love Someone' has also debuted at #5 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
