UMPG songwriter Ines Dunn was honoured with Music Creative – Spirit Of The Studio at the Women In Music Awards 2025. The Music Creative award recognises a woman who has made a significant contribution to the making of music behind the scenes, through songwriting, studio production or studio technology.
Ines is a key creative contributor to some of the UK’s hottest new artists, including Maisie Peters, Jazzy, Griff and Mimi Webb. Her boundless creativity, combined with a real sensitivity to, and understanding of an artist’s style, personality and skills, give Ines an innate ability to bring out the very best in her collaborators.
“We are so thrilled that Ines has been named Spirit of the Studio at this year’s Women in Music Awards. Ines is totally the embodiment of this award - intuitive, driven, warm, and a fantastic songwriter. It’s no mystery as to how she’s become the go-to collaborator for many of the world’s most exciting new artists. Congratulations, Ines!” said David Gray, UMPG UK’s MD & Head of Global A&R.
The awards ceremony was held on 10 October at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London. On the night, Jackie Alway (EVP of International Legal and Industry Affairs, UMPG) presented International Woman of the Year to Cécile Rap-Veber, (CEO, SACEM), whilst Brian Eno presented Campaigner of the Year to Cathy Runciman (Co-Executive Director, EarthPercent) and Skye Newman presented Businesswoman of the Year to Amy Wheatley (MD, Columbia Records).
Huge congratulations to Ines Dunn for this incredibly well-deserved honour!
