UMPG songwriters and composers nominated for the 71st Ivor Novello Awards

The nominations for the 71st Ivor Novello Awards have been announced, with 10 UMPG songwriters and composers nominated across 6 categories.

The prestigious awards - which celebrate “the craft, cultural impact and enduring importance of songs and screen compositions” - will be presented during a ceremony at Grosvenor House, London on 21 May.

The UMPG nominees are: 

Miles Clinton James  - nominated for Best Contemporary Song for co-writing Little Simz - "Free"

Florence Welch  - nominated for Best Song Musically and Lyrically for "Everybody Scream"

Skye Newman - nominated for Rising Star Award with Amazon Music

Tobias Jesso Jr.  - nominated for PRS for Music Most Performed Work for "Man I Need"

Zach Nahome  - nominated for PRS for Music Most Performed Work for "Man I Need"

Coldplay - nominated for PRS for Music Most Performed Work for "Viva La Vida"

Jerskin Fendrix  - nominated for Best Original Film Score for Bugonia

Raffertie - nominated for Best Original Film Score for Dragonfly

Robin Carolan - nominated for Best Original Film Score for Nosferatu (NBC Universal)

Sarah Warne - Best Television Soundtrack for Lazarus (Amazon Studios)
