UMPG artists and songwriters were honoured at the 2026 BRIT Awards, broadcast from Co-op Live in Manchester on Saturday.
ROSALÍA received International Artist of the Year, and Geese were awarded International Group of the Year. Fred again.., received the award for Dance Act (with Skepta and Plaqueboymax).
International Song of the Year went to global smash “APT.” by Rosé & Bruno Mars. The song was co-written by UMPG songwriters Omer Fedi, Cirkut, Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman.
Mastercard Album of the Year was awarded to Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving. The album was co-written by UMPG songwriters Tobias Jesso Jr. and Zach Nahome.
Mark Ronson received the prestigious honour of Outstanding Contribution to Music. Stacey Tang, Chair of the 2026 BRIT Awards Committee and Co-President of RCA Records at Sony Music UK said: "Mark’s creative influence spans every corner of contemporary culture. He has shaped the musical landscape globally with incredible albums, his own artist releases as well as those in collaboration with phenomenal talents he has discovered and nurtured. Mark has an extraordinary ability to elevate each project he works on. This award recognises his huge contribution to British music’s global story and cements his place as one of the most innovative creators of our time.”
On the night there were standout performances from UMPG artists Harry Styles, ROSALÍA and Mark Ronson, as well as the singers from HUNTR/X - “Golden” written by UMPG songwriters Joong Gyu Kwak, Hee Dong Nam, Yoo Han Lee, Jeong Hun Seo (via THEBLACK LABEL and YG), plus Park Hong Jun (via UMPG Korea).
