Five UMPG songwriters have been inducted into this year’s Songwriters Hall of Fame. 

Taylor Swift, Alanis Morissette, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley (Kiss) and Kenny Loggins are all amongst this year’s honorees. 

The Songwriters Hall of Fame is dedicated to honoring and preserving the contributions and legacies of songwriters of all genres of music, while continuing to cultivate and to encourage the growth of promising writers.

The 2026 Induction and Awards Gala will be held on Thursday, June 11th at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
