Plan B 'Ill Manors'

Plan B is not a man afraid to tackle subjects head on. After the soulful swing of ‘The Defamation of Strickland Banks’ - documenting the trials and tribulations of a soul singer wrongly accused of sexual assault - he now turns his attention to social unrest in Britain today.

‘Ill Manors’ is a politically charged song that presents itself as both a reaction to the 2011 riots and a hard hitting commentary on the social alienation of youth in Britain today, accompanied by a powerful video.

Plan B has received widespread praise both for the song and video, and for his approach in tackling a controversial and difficult issue. NME declared it “by a million miles the best thing Plan B has ever done” whilst The Guardian went a step further and called ‘Ill Manors’ “the greatest British protest song in years.
