UMPG artist & writer Alvaro Diaz has been awarded the No. 1 spot in Rolling Stone’s Latin Albums of the Year for his latest album ‘Sayonara’. 

We had a wonderful week in Miami for the 25th annual Latin Grammy Awards. We are so proud of our team of songwriters, artists, and producers for all their nominations and wins. UMPG Latin participated in 84 nominations across 58 categories, including participation in 5/10 for Record of the Year, 6/10 for Album of the Year, and 4/10 for Song of the Year. We won 14 awards that included but were not limited to Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Engineered Album, Best Pop Song, Best Rock Album, Best Singer-Songwriter Album, and more.

For the 67^th GRAMMY Awards nominations, UMPG songwriters, artists, producers and composers earned a record 111 nominations spanning 51 categories! Across genres, our talent contributed to many of this year’s most influential and culturally significant songs.

The Latin Recording Academy® proudly announced that Ana Rosa Santiago, Senior Vice President of Latin Music for Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) in the U.S. and Latin America, has been named one of the esteemed honorees for the Leading Ladies of Entertainment 2024.

David Gray has been promoted to Managing Director, U.K. and Head of Global A&R for Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a leader in global music publishing, it was announced today by UMPG Chairman & CEO Jody Gerson, to whom Gray reports. Gray will relocate to London from New York in January. Passing the reins to Gray is longtime UMPG U.K. Managing Director Mike McCormack, who has established a consultancy and formed a joint venture with the company.

Additionally, Kram will work with Bravado to drive strategy and create revenue-generating opportunities for UMPG/Bravado catalog IP.
