KIRBY is the incredibly talented writer behind “FourFiveSeconds” by Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney; “Tell Me You Love Me” by Demi Lovato; “Die With You” by Beyoncé; “Only One” by Kanye West and Paul McCartney; “Break Your Heart Right Back” by Ariana Grande and more.

On January 31st of 2020, the accomplished songwriter turned songstress released her debut EP "Sis.", a 7-track EP produced by Homer Steinweissand The Menahan Street Band of Amy Winehouse's famous album "Back To Black". With this project the rising, Memphis-bred artist introduced her own take on modern soul, using live instrumentation and melodic prowess to blend contemporary and nostalgia.

The project was met with widespread acclaim, earning her a spot on NPR's Tiny Desk, three separate usages in HBO's series 'Insecure', and over 20 million streams across streaming platforms.

On November 19th 2020, KIRBY released a new single entitled 'Superpower' featuring D Smoke. "Superpower' is the first single off of her upcoming sophomore project which is slated to be released in 2021. She highlighted the single with a live performance on COLORS Berlin debut, and a heartfelt music video dedicated to families that have lost loved ones to gun violence.

In June, KIRBY showcased her debut EP 'Sis.' with NPR Music, performing three singles from the project live on their famed Tiny Desk Series featuring a guest appearance from Grammy award winning artist Lucky Daye. She has also made headlines as of late for her unique form of social activism, which was featured on NBC News, USA Today and the New York Times.
