UMPG’s worldwide headquarters in Santa Monica is home to a state-of-the-art recording studio. Since its opening, the studio has been a creative hub for some of the company’s most talented songwriters, artists and producers.
The studios in our Los Angeles world headquarters have been designed to inspire creativity with an atmosphere of comfort and the latest in digital recording technology. Some features include a spacious mix room equipped with Augspurger speakers and Meyer Sound subwoofers; a Piano ISO booth with Yamaha concert series upgraded action; an expansive live room with superior sound; and a Gretsch house drum kit. In addition to superlative technical elements, the studio is furnished with various amenities, including a private entrance for unloading equipment; and a lounge set up for relaxation and privacy.
UMPG's New York office features a number of professional quality writer rooms that are available exclusively to our writers. Each room has unique characteristics, depending on the type of project. Whether it’s a producer working on a new beat, singer-songwriters penning the next big hit, or full on audio tracking, the writer studios of UMPG's New York office have the latest technology to make it all happen. Also featured is a fully-equipped and stylish showcase stage, complete with a P.A. system, instruments and recording capability.
UMPG Nashville studio is a professional recording studio serving the company’s songwriters for demo purposes. Since opening in 1996, writers such as Hunter Hayes, Nathan Chapman, Rivers Rutherford, Troy Verges, Emmylou Harris, Waylon Jennings, Anthony Smith, Craig Wiseman, and Marty Stuart have recorded here. Many songs that were brought to life in UMPG Nashville’s studio have gone on to be some of country music’s biggest hits.
