The Cocteau Twins created a distinctly unique, ethereal and gossamer sound, and the definitive line up of Elizabeth Fraser, Robin Guthrie and Simon Raymonde released a string of classic albums including 'Treasure', 'Victorialand', 'Blue Bell Knoll' and 'Heaven and Las Vegas'.

In 2008 the band received the Q Inspiration Award and in 2012 their influence can be heard more than ever; from Anthony & the Johnsons, Warpaint, Beach House, Animal Collective, The xx, Bat For Lashes, Sigur Ros and Lykke Li to Robert Plant, Madonna, Feist and Prince.

Elton John's limited edition box set ‘Classic Album Selection (1970 – 73)’ comprises of five classic albums: ‘Elton John’, ‘Tumbleweed Connection’, ‘Madman Across The Water’, ‘Honky Chateau’ and ‘Don’t Shoot Me I’m Only The Piano Player’. These albums provided the backbone of Elton’s early career and were the source of a series of breakthrough hits which would propel him to become one of the most successful British artists of all time.
