Works from UMP Classics & Screen/Decca Publishing composers feature in Forza Horizon 6

Several tracks from UMP Classics & Screen/Decca Publishing composers feature in Forza Horizon 6, on the game’s Opus channel – the classical radio station available to tune into during game play. The station playlist features works from composers Joep Beving, Clark, Max Richter, Isobel Waller-Bridge, Fyfe, Iskra Strings, Benjamin Rimmr and Danny & Saunder. Francisca Goncalves (Senior Vice President, Global Head of Sync, Classics, Jazz & Screen) worked closely with Microsoft to curate the track selection, with Classics & Screen and Global Classics & Jazz (UMG) collectively dominating the Opus playlist through a strong representation of composers across the two divisions.

Forza Horizon 6 is the latest release of the hugely popular racing game series. Forza Horizon 5 launched with nearly 5 million players on the first day, going on to reach 45 – 50 million players worldwide.

The UMPG published works featured in the game are:

Joep Beving – “Hanging D” (Cello Octet Version)
Clark – “Lambent Rag”
Max Richter, Mari Samuelsen – “November”
Max Richter, Chineke! Orchestra – “Spring 1 (2022)”
Isobel Waller-Bridge – “Trace” (Phoenician Order Remix)
Fyfe, Iskra Strings – “Transmit”
Benjamin Rimmr – “Soaring”
Danny & Saunder – “Bullets”

Forza Horizon 6’s early access launch began 15 May, with the full release set for 19 May.
