Dog is Dead release their debut album ‘All Our Favourite Stories’ today – showcasing the band’s spine-tingling harmony arrangements and knack for writing big indie pop anthems.
Dog is Dead have built up a loyal following after the release of ‘Hands Down’, ‘Two Devils’ and ‘Glockenspiel Song’ on Atlantic Records – followed by a packed festival touring schedule. NME has described them as “main stage stars-in-waiting” whilst The Guardian declared that the band, “know their way round a tune, and they know just where to hang the right baubles to enhance it”.
Talking about the inspiration for the new album, singer Rob explains, “Here's a summary of 5 years of us growing up and making music together. It's inspired by the highs, the lows, every drunken night, every nose bleed, the bliss of new love and the shit that follows.” The album was recorded in Nottingham and produced by Guy Elderfield, David Kosten and the band’s Rob Milton.
Dog is Dead ‘All Our Favourite Stories’ is released on 8th October, along with new single ‘Talk Through the Night’.
