Charlie Brooker’s acclaimed dystopian series Black Mirror has returned to Netflix for Season 7, and Episode 2 ‘Bête Noire’ features Amyl & The Sniffers - ‘Starfire 500’.

The episode follows the story of a young woman who is unnerved when an old acquaintance joins the company she works at, and there's something odd about her that only she can see.

Speaking to NME about why he used this track, Charlie Brooker said: “It was partly there because we wanted Verity to be listening to some angry music, and also it felt quite important to have a female vocal on it.” 

Amyl & The Sniffers' Amy Taylor said on Instagram: "So excited to have a song in the new season of Black Mirror, such a fan."

Amyl & The Sniffers recently gave an electrifying performance at this year’s Coachella festival.
