An updated version of 'American Pie' was used by BT Sport Boxing to promote the Fury vs Whyte fight before it featured as Fury's walkout music.

The Tyson Fury and Don McLean collaboration was cooked up between UMPG's sync team and BT Sport and has been in the works for two years, finally coming into fruition for the Fury vs White fight on 23 April. 

Fury has a long history with 'American Pie', singing it on various occasion in public, including at a post-fight press conference. The pair have now collaborated to remake the original, with the accompanying video featuring McLean performing in a boxing ring alongside footage from Fury's career.
