Gabrielle Aplin’s ‘Salvation’ provides the soundtrack for BBC1’s ‘Call the Midwife’ Christmas Special trailer.

The episode will air on Christmas Day at 6.15pm. The show is based on the memoirs of Jennifer Worth, who was a district midwife in London’s east end during the 1950′s.

‘Salvation’ is from Gabrielle Aplin’s debut album ‘English Rain’ which was released in May this year and reached No. 2 in the UK album charts.
