At long last Alan Partridge finally reaches the big screen in ‘Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa’, directed by Declan Lowney ('Father Ted', 'Moone') and penned by Armando Iannucci’s writing team. 

After Norfolk Digital when it is taken over by a multinational conglomerate and one of Alan’s colleagues is fired, the disgruntled DJ returns to the station during an office party with a gun and holds the station hostage. The only person he'll talk to during siege negotiations is Alan, who sees an opportunity to stage a triumphant return to the limelight.

Universal Music Publishing has the following songs as part of the soundtrack: Chicago ‘Hard to Say I’m Sorry’, Glen Campbell ‘Wichita Lineman’ and Roachford ‘Cuddly Toy’ – with Example’s ‘All the Wrong Places’ over the closing credits. ‘Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa’ is in UK cinemas from 7 August.
