Michael Winterbottom teams up once again with Steve Coogan for this biopic based on the life of Paul Raymond, whose controversial entrepreneurial lifestyle made him one of the richest men Britian in the early nineties. The film, written by Matt Greenhalgh who penned ‘Nowhere Boy’ and ‘Control’, also stars Anna Friel, Tamsin Egerton and Imogen Poots.
Universal Music Publishing provided a number of great seventies soul tunes as part of the soundtrack including Aretha Franklin singing Hal David and Burt Bacharach’s ‘Anyone Who Ever Had a Heart’, ‘Everybody Party All Night’ by The Chairman Of The Board, ‘Born Under a Bad Sign’ by Booker T. & the M.Gs. and ‘Outa-Space’ by Billy Preston.
‘The Look of Love’ will be in cinemas throughout the UK from April 26th.
