Majo Aguilar signs exclusive global publishing agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group Mexico

Latin GRAMMY® nominated Musica Mexicana singer-songwriter, Majo Aguilar, has signed an exclusive worldwide publishing agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group Mexico, a leading global music publisher.

The signing arrives at a milestone moment in Majo’s career, as she continues to establish herself as a leading female voice in Música Mexicana. Her recent singles and her standout cover of Juan Gabriel’s classic “Así Fue” have strengthened her connection with fans. Her album Mariachi Mío (Deluxe), released in December 2025, showcases her versatility and her ability to expand mariachi’s boundaries by incorporating elements of huapango, flamenco, rap, and tumbado into its traditional framework.

Over the past year, Majo has earned back-to-back wins for Mexican Music Female Artist of the Year at Premio Lo Nuestro 2026, along with Best Female Collaboration for “BRUJERÍA” with Yuridia. She was named the first female ambassador of the World Mariachi Congress and has performed the Mexican National Anthem on major global stages, including the Canelo Álvarez fight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and an international football match at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes. With more than 501 million streams across platforms, her influence continues to expand globally.

Currently on tour, Majo will headline the iconic Auditorio Nacional on November 13, 2026, marking the grand finale of her current run and one of the most significant milestones of her career to date.
